I did this following partly a tut of Tuft University....i changed some things during the modelling :D ...then i used Adobe Photoshop Elements to change a bit the colors.

Gorgeous textures and colours! I'd soften up the shadows by fiddling with the lamp soft size and sample settings in the spot and shadow section in either adaptive of constant QMC. Ambient occlusion would help to flesh out the dimensions a little too. Longer render times, but the effect is worth it.

I agree with Alan, ambient occlusion would really make this come to life. Also, check out Ira's depth of field tutorial. The textures and modeling look great, you're almost there!
