2.49 I cant find the force actuator under simple motion?

Hello, I am new to blender and in 2.49 I cant find the force actuator under simple motion. All that is there is Loc and Rot. Can anyone help me.

You have to have your object be of a different body type, i.e. 'Rigid Body' or 'Soft Body' to get the force actuator option. There may be others with which it works, but those do for certain. A static object does not respond to force, perhaps? Hope this helps :~)
